A simple module to insert random quotes in Joomla. The job of inserting quotations is made easy as the quotes have to be inserted into a text file! Advantage of using a text file is that you need not insert each quote laboriously through the admin backend... Just type in, or cut and paste from elsewhere in one go and then this module will do the hardwork. The text file will reside inside the modules folder and will need manual editing, however. Please note, this is experimental code, so your mileage may vary, however it works for me so far. It was developed against Hot Property 095.3, I don't know how it will work against later versions, so feedback welcome. The idea is that this bot will notice when a new Hot Property property has been created and create a Jomres property to match it. It will also create a new property field Bookings, and add a link to the booking form of the newly created Jomres property in the HP property's Other details page. Installation/use We will start with the assumption that HP has been installed and properties exist on the system. Install Jomres, referring to the http://www.jomres.net tutorials on authorising users, however you must not install any sample data at this point. Install the bot, edit site mambots and publish the bot. That should be it. Every time you create a new HP property and the frontend of Joomla is reloaded a new Jomres property should be created. This is an extension with a component and a module for Authenticate users right from a mysql usertable. All informations about the database (hostname, databasename etc) can be configured in admin. The Query to get the user information is also to be set in the admin backend. This was tested to authenticate phpBB users and drupal users. And should work with others as well.

A Currency Converter component for Joomla. This converter uses the csv file provided by yahoo. AJAX Technique was used in this component so that it will not reload the entire page.

This is a small profile component for Joomla! it was NOT created to replace the large, more featureful component 'Community Builder'. I built this for smaller sites that have no use for a Forum, or a huge profile component. Please note that at the moment, there is no Administrative Interface. When you link to this component from a menu, it will display a user list. Clicking on the username will load that users profile. If a user clicks on his or her own name, they may modify the fields.
