With the age of EZ Store's code base, EZ Catalog is the new generation of eCommerce components that I'll be offering to Joomla users - and EZ Catalog Lite is the free to use version of my commercial software. EZ Catalog Lite will meet the needs of the majority of EZ Store users, and it has an all-new code base with none of EZ Store's problems. As a result, it's another light-weight, minimalist approach to ecommerce. Some of its features include XHTML compliance, SEF-friendly url's, category support, product ordering, category access permissions, WYSWIG editor support, and language support. VersionUpdater - new commercial Component for administrating software updates for sellers of downloadable products via the famous VirtueMart shopping cart. When a user has bought a downloadable product in your web shop and the order is listed as confirmed in VirtueMart after the payment has been done, the user gets an e-mail with a download ID and downloads the product. When a new version of the product is released, it must be possible for the buyer to go to a menu item called Updates to login at www.yourdomain.com and get a list of updates for earlier bought downloadable products. Data are taken from the VirtueMart database tables. If no updates are available a text is shown telling the user this.
