Initially, FBoxBot bot/plugin was inspired by the extension lightThumb. The main idea is to help the user to create easily thumbnails from any pictures, and when you click on the thumbnails a nice popup appears that show the image at its original size. So what makes this package so special ? Firstly: I've written the associated popup script, frontbox, which I wanted to be lightweight, polyvalent, reliable. And Secondly: I made the process of creation of thumbnails easier than never: inside your favorite wysiwyg editor insert a picture, resize "manually" (see picture on website), save, publish and the bot will do the remaining job for you ! But it has also some other nice features I discuss on the website ... Download link: scroll at the bottom of all explanations. You must have javascript activated in order to downlad the file.

Curvaceous analyzes an image for background transparency and makes the surrounding text flow neatly around the image contour if the image is aligned to the left or to the right of the text. Curvaceous is a Joomla! plug-in that serves as an improvement (but not a replacement) over the mosImage plug-in. It does not alter any of the Joomla! code. Curvaceous can be used anywhere the mosImage plug-in is used, and uses the same parameters as mosImage. It can co-exist with the mosImage plug-in, even on the same content page.

MultiThumb is a mambot that automatically creates thumbnails and optionally creates popups to the original images in three different ways: - Normal popup in new window - Lightbox popups with picture grouping (image sets) - Thumbnail expansion like in forum.joomla.org MultiThumb is inspired by MosThumb, but it works with normal images explicitly put in the content instead of indirectly with the tag. Features: - Automatically generate thumbnails of images that exceed a certain size - Show full size image in popup window (with screen fit option) - Show Lightbox popup. Use same alt attribute to group pictures. - Thumbnail expansion instead of popup - Add captions below or above images - No need to add custom headers to template files - No need to unpublish MultiThumb is installed like any other mambot.

This mambot adds a link to the full view of the content to the first image found in the introtext in the blog-view. It checks for the HTML-Imagetag and the MosImage Mambot-Tag. Important: this mambot does not replace the original mosimage mambot of joomla! Mosimage.php is still needed to display the images.

*** From the creator of the AllVideos Bot/Plugin *** The Ultimate PNG Fix Plugin for Joomla 1.0.x (and Mambo 4.5.x) gives you the ability to correct "alpha" transparency for BOTH inline and background 24/32-bit PNG images on Internet Explorer (from version 5 up to version 6.x, version 7+ supports PNG transparency natively). It does that by triggering some optional filters in IE using Javascript to achieve alpha transparency. Freely speaking, this plugin "eases" the implementation of PNG alpha transparency for everyone by correctly inserting the appropriate Javascript code (including correct file and image paths). "Inline" PNG images are the ones that you would use inside your joomla content items or inside your template with a normal tag. "Background" PNG images are the ones that you would normally include in your template's css file, e.g.
.header { background:#c0c0c0 url(../images/transparent.png) no-repeat; width:100px; height:80px; }
There are no restrictions on how we write the code in our css file, we can freely use background pngs even when we use shorthand syntax (which does not work in other proposed solutions). And best of all? There is ...

The default styling for the caption is applied. * {moszoomthumb imgid=1 caption="this is my caption text" style_m=2} Previous example, but the second style is applied to the container that holds both the image as well as the caption (if any). The style is defined in the mambot-config-settings. * {moszoomthumb imgid=1 style_m=2 style_c=2} previous example, but the second style for captions is used.
