This first release is a simple component designed to allow you to quickly and easily change your Joomla database table prefix. No more manual renames! No more search and replace import exports! The script loops through the database and renames the tables with the new prefix all from the comfort of your Joomla admin area. Only the prefix is changed. Changes are updated in the Joomla configuration file, with optional read-only protection. Changing the database table prefix allows you to run multiple Joomla installations side by side from a single database. If this extension helps you out, please let me know in the comments.
