SimpleNews is not a component, but a hack that makes much easier to insert news items into Mambo. It is focused on non-technical users that have no idea (or time) on how to resize images or make a page layout and even better, they just have a simple form to publish these articles without any other Mambo menus or options. It is fast, safe and also keep all pages in a standard layout. Articles admin will remain in Mambo, fully editable at the same way as usual. For multi-language support, SimpleNews recognizes Mambelfish installed languages and adds new tab for each. It also supports multi-language on main interface (brazilian portuguese and english versions ready).MamboForge | Demo site (user: demo, password: teste)

Enables creation of content for Joomla/Mambo by email! Even the configuration of the mambot (program within Mambo) can be performed by email. That is not only convenient, it already gives a taste of the things I have planned... ;) So now any mambo-based website can be maintained from everywhere, as long as you get a chance to send an email! :)  - From the developer's website
